Here's how you can integrate your index data on Alphathena's Direct Indexing platform.

PreviousHow to embed index data on your website

Last updated 1 year ago

Step 1 - Set up an index on Index One

Use Index One's Index Builder to build and launch a live index.

Step 2 - Set up Alphathena stream

Set up a stream on Index One to ensure that your index data is being delivered to Alphathena's platform.

  • Select your index.

  • Select "Webhook" Delivery Type

  • Select "Event" > "EOD Event" on Trigger Type

  • Select "Alphathena" Stream Type

Webhook Settings:

  • The Webhook URL is filled out by default. You do not have to fill this out.

  • HTTP Method is set to "POST" by default. Change this to "PUT".

  • Copy your index's Alphathena ID, which you can find in the details section of your index, on Alphathena.

  • Enter your Alphathena user email address in "Alphathena User ID."

  • Under "Request Headers," fill out the "Value" field by typing in your Aphathena API Key, which you can find in the "Settings" section of your Alphathena account.

Step 3 - Test Delivery or Create Stream

To immediately check if the holdings of your index has been updated correctly on Alphathena, you can click on "Test Delivery".

If you are happy with your stream configurations, you can click on "Create Stream" to execute delivery from the next date/time of data delivery.
